Hello Western Region, your regional boatswain here. I am starting up a monthly photo contest. The winning picture will be displayed on the header of the regional blog for a month. I am looking for creative, and fun pictures that go along with whatever theme I announce.
All pictures need to be submitted by the 25th of the month. Barring unforeseen circumstances the winning picture will be announced and posted on the 1st of the month. Please also send a short explanation with the picture, along with your ship name and what council you are in.
On to the fun stuff, this month’s theme. This time of year the weather can be quite ferocious, so I would like to see pictures of Sea Scouts battling the elements. The pictures can be on land, on the water, or wherever your ship encountered adverse weather and chose to battle through it.
